The 8 finalists for Screaming Fields 2026

Mark your calendars, book your free tickets, and get ready to witness the future of the Luxembourg music scene. On Saturday, 11 July, the Rockhal Club transforms into a high-octane launchpad for the country’s best young emerging talent at the annual Screaming Fields Festival.

Organised by Rockhal’s Rocklab, Screaming Fieldsgoes beyond a standard festival layout. It is a highly coveted artist accelerator programme designed to push Luxembourg’s next generation of performers straight into the limelight.

From "Sonic Love" to the big stage: A quick history lesson Screaming Fields has been very important springboard for young local talent for over two decades.

  • The early days (2005–2009): The festival originally kicked off under the name Screaming Fields of Sonic Love, operating as an amateur band competition.

  • The high school era (2010–2015): The event changed direction becoming a dedicated high school battle of the bands. Musicians officially promoted their respective Lycées or local youth houses (Maison des Jeunes).

  • The modern launchpad (2016–present): Rocklab opened up the boundaries. Dropping the school requirement, they transformed the project into a comprehensive support programme open to any young resident in Luxembourg across all genres.

Over the years, this very stage has hosted acts that went on to become household names in the local and international indie scenes. Those that got their start or crucial early backing here include Francis of Delirium, C'est Karma, Maz Univerze, Tuys, Adriano Selva, and Eva Marija.

The 2026 Line-Up: 8 Finalists, 1 Special Guest

Out of a wave of applicants, a selection process combining public online voting and a professional jury panel of local industry experts whittled the list down to eight outstanding acts.

Each finalist gets a 20-minute slot consisting of 4 to 5 songs, with a rule that only one cover song is permitted, meaning artists showcase their own original compositions.

Before they even touch the stage mic, Rocklab treats these acts to vocal coaching, live stage rehearsals, marketing strategy sessions, and fully production-backed soundchecks with the official Rockhal crew.

Here’s the diverse multi-genre line-up for 11 July:

Closing out the entire evening as the special guest headliner is alternative pop artist Blame Emeraude. After taking home the festival's prestigious Live Music Accelerator prize last year, Blame Emeraude spent the last twelve months working hand-in-hand with Rocklab mentors, vocal coaches, and stage experts to refine their live set, and they're returning to show everyone exactly how far that development goes.

What’s it worth?

The stakes are high for the performers. Festival-goers can vote live on-site at the official polling stations to crown the Audience Award winner. Meanwhile, booking managers and bookers from major local institutions will be watching in the crowd to hand out the Booker’s Choice awards, which grant the acts guaranteed future gig slots at major hubs and festivals across Luxembourg, including the likes of Rotondes, De Gudde Wëllen, E-Lake Festival, Fête de la Musique Dudelange, Flow Festival and Trifolion Echternach.

The ultimate prize of the evening is the Screaming Fields Live Music Accelerator, an intensive growth package built alongside Jonk Entrepreneuren Luxembourg offering professional business training, free studio rehearsal spaces, technical staging instruction, and direct career follow-up. Full prize details are on the Screaming Fields website.

Admission is completely FREE, but you do need to claim a free ticket in advance via the Rockhal ticketing platform. Doors open at 18:00!

Come out, pack the floor at the Club, and show love to the bands that will be filling our local playlists for years to come. See you at the front barricade!
