Eva Marija

Eva Marija is a Luxembourgish singer-songwriter and violinist whose music serves as a bridge between soulful vulnerability and sophisticated pop. Born and raised in the Grand Duchy to Slovenian parents, her sound is a reflection of her multicultural upbringing and a deep, multidisciplinary education at the Conservatoire de Luxembourg. From mastering the violin, an instrument she fell in love with at age three, to studying jazz, piano, and bass, Eva has developed a versatile musicality that defies easy categorisation.

In January 2026, Eva Marija etched her name into Luxembourgish music history by winning the Luxembourg Song Contest (LSC). As the youngest competitor in the field, her powerhouse performance of the atmospheric anthem "Mother Nature" captivated both the international jury and the public, securing her the top spot with 222 points. She is now set to represent Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, carrying the Grand Duchy’s flag to the global stage.

Currently finishing her songwriting studies in London, Eva’s work, including singles like "Toxic Trait" and "TIME TO GO", explores themes of human connection and self-discovery. Her LSC-winning song, "Mother Nature," co-written at the Rocklab Songwriting Camp, showcases her ability to blend organic storytelling with cinematic production.

Whether performing with her violin in hand or commanding the stage with her velvety vocal range, Eva Marija remains one of Luxembourg’s most compelling and ambitious musical exports.
