Take your music beyond Luxembourg - EXCITE 2027 wants you!
Luxembourg solo musicians and bands have the chance to take their sound across Europe, make new industry connections, and get in front of international audiences, thanks to EXCITE 2027.
Making great music is one thing. Getting it heard beyond your home turf is another. But if you're a Luxembourg-based solo musician or band looking to take the next step internationally, an exciting opportunity has just landed.
Kultur lx is inviting Luxembourg artists and bands to apply for EXCITE 2027 (Exchange of International Talent in Europe), a European music network designed to help emerging talent break beyond national borders and make some serious noise on the international scene.
This isn't just another opportunity to add a gig to your calendar, it's about opening doors, meeting the right people, and getting your music in front of audiences who might never have discovered you otherwise.
So, what exactly is EXCITE?
EXCITE is a European launchpad for emerging musical talent. Established in 2009, the network brings together eight partner organisations from Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Sweden, Ukraine and the UK. Together, they connect festivals, music professionals and emerging artists, creating opportunities for musicians to perform abroad and develop their careers internationally.
At the heart of the initiative is a network of partner festivals and affiliated music events across Europe. Selected artists get the chance to perform in other countries, discover new audiences and connect with the people who make the music industry tick.
This means managers, record labels, publishers, booking agents, music supervisors, promoters and other industry professionals. So it’s the sort of contacts that could help turn a promising musical project into something much bigger.
More than just another gig abroad
What's in it for the selected artists? EXCITE is about creating opportunities beyond the stage. Alongside international live performances, participants benefit from professional networking, peer-to-peer learning and opportunities to exchange ideas and experiences with people working in different European music scenes.
It's also a chance to explore new markets, build relationships with international industry players and increase the visibility of their music beyond Luxembourg.
There's some good news for the touring budget too as EXCITE covers travel and accommodation costs for participating artists.
Luxembourg talent already making waves
Luxembourg is no stranger to the EXCITE network. Local artists have already been part of its international roster, including Florence Besch and Ninon in 2026, while Sheebaba joined the network in 2025.
Through its partnership with EXCITE, Kultur lx is helping put Luxembourg's music scene on the European map, giving local talent opportunities to meet international audiences and become part of a wider music community.
With the 2027 edition on the horizon, there are new opportunities for Luxembourg's next generation of musical exports.
Ready to make some international noise?
If you're a Luxembourg solo musician or a band with ambitions beyond the Grand Duchy, this could be your chance to get things moving. EXCITE 2027 could be the international push your music needs.
