Luxembourg’s rock scene just got a little boost. SUPERDRIVE returns on 4 May with How Does It Feel?, a fist-pumping, arena-sized anthem that proves classic melodic power rock still has plenty of fuel left in the tank.

Built around a huge radio-ready chorus and packed with soaring guitars, the new single feels like a love letter to the golden age of rock. It is reminicent of the hook-heavy swagger of Bon Jovi, the sleazy punch of Aerosmith and the polished bombast of Def Leppard, and even a touch of Foo Fighters in there, but filtered through SUPERDRIVE’s own modern power-rock energy.

The result is an unapologetically catchy earworm that sounds tailor-made for rolled-down windows, summer festival stages and maximum volume singalongs.

Yet beneath the glossy riffs and anthemic hooks lies something a little deeper. The band explains that, How Does It Feel? explores themes of  “loss, and the slow, deliberate work of rebuilding a life in its aftermath”, making it one of the more personal songs in the group’s catalogue so far.

The track is the second preview from SUPERDRIVE’s forthcoming album, expected later in 2026, following 2025 breakthrough single Let Go, which racked up more than 100,000 YouTube views and won Best Music Video at the Trier Filmfest.

The current lineup sees founding members Louis Wright and Baba Pintsch joined by drummer Steve Schmit and keyboardist Gilles Lanners. Together, the band have been steadily rebuilding momentum on the Luxembourg live circuit with a sound that proudly embraces big choruses, heavy riffs and old-school rock showmanship.

Their pedigree is already impressive: SUPERDRIVE previously landed support slots for Scorpions, Extreme, and The Gene Simmons Band (KISS),  the kind of résumé that tells you exactly where this group belongs: on big stages with loud amplifiers.
