As spring takes hold, the Luxembourgish duo ENGLBRT has returned with a delicate new offering. Their latest single, Harvest, is a poignant second glimpse into their highly anticipated upcoming EP, SONG(E)S, set for release on June 5, 2026.

A Seasonal Shift in Sound

Following the driving, electro energy of their previous single Godspeed, Harvest sees the duo—comprised of prolific musicians Georges Goerens and Niels Engel—pivoting toward a more intimate sonic landscape. The track is described by the band as "the quietest song from our upcoming EP," specifically crafted as an antidote to the frantic pace of modern life.

"Some months of songwriting are being harvested," the band shared in a statement. "With spring arriving, we’re releasing our new single Harvest into the world... made for slowing down in these nervous times."

From the farm to the studio

The inspiration for Harvest is deeply rooted in the physical world. Written while Goerens was based on a farm, the song captures his transition from the "accelerated culture" of the city to a grounded, rural routine.

The lyrics and atmosphere reflect a period spent feeding animals and working in gardens, moments that reshaped his understanding of time and environmental cycles.

Musically, the song is dreamy, floaty, and gentle. It features hypnotic textures with muffled drums pulsing beneath subtle, glitchy electronics. The intimate vocals are dry and close-miked, creating the sensation of a whispered secret. The track maintains the widescreen cinematic feel the duo is known for.

About ENGLBRT

Formed at the Kulturfabrik cultural hub, ENGLBRT has quickly become one of Luxembourg’s most exciting exports. Combining Goerens’ melodic sensibilities (known from his work with Seed to Tree) and Engel’s masterful percussion, the duo treats music like a "well-adjusted science experiment." Their 2023 debut EP, Odes to Everything, established their reputation for genre-bending electronica and soul-stirring pop.

With Harvest, they continue to explore the "quiet erosion of biodiversity" and our vanishing connection to the land, offering listeners a fragile, beautiful moment of reconnection.
