Francis of Delirium has taken home the coveted Radio 100,7 Song vum Joer (Song of the Year) or "KLANG 20205" trophy with their fab track “Little Black Dress.” After weeks of public voting and heated anticipation, listeners across the Grand Duchy cast their votes via the Radio 100,7 app and website, and the indie standout emerged victorious from a strong shortlist of local talent.
“Little Black Dress”, released in late September, and already turning heads on stages across Europe, captured hearts with its raw energy, memorable melody, and honest lyrics about the chaos and exhilaration of life on the road. The song marks Francis of Delirium’s first new material since their acclaimed debut album Lighthouse and has been widely praised for its cathartic indie-rock punch and emotional depth.
Klang 20205 Song vum Joer initiative from Radio 100,7 spotlights the best of Luxembourg’s vibrant music scene, drawing nominations from genres as diverse as electronic pop, hip-hop, indie, and singer-songwriter fare. Listeners were invited to explore this rich musical landscape and select up to three favourites from a ten-track shortlist, including entries from Adriano Selva, ÆM, Don Piano, Josh Island, Maz Univerze, NINON, Octo, RAFTSIDE, and Tuys.
At a special on-air celebration broadcast live on Radio 100,7, Little Black Dress was revealed as the winner a moment that resonated across social feeds.
A celebrated year for Francis of Delirium
Jana Bahrich, the creative force behind Francis of Delirium, has spent 2025 bridging heartfelt songwriting with blistering live energy. Fresh from supporting international acts on tour, Little Black Dress encapsulates that tour-season intensity: the rush of getting ready, the highs of performance, the yearning that lingers long after the last note fades.
Adding to the buzz, the Little Black Dress video was shot at this year’s Schueberfouer, throwing Francis of Delirium into the neon glow, noise and chaos of Luxembourg’s most iconic fair. Fast, fun and slightly unhinged, the visuals mirror the song’s rush-of-adrenaline energy, a perfect snapshot of late-summer nights at the Glacis.
Fans and critics alike have applauded the track’s layered harmonies, driving rhythms, and the way it captures both the euphoria and raw vulnerability of contemporary indie rock.
Looking ahead
Winning Radio 100,7’s Klang Song vum Joer is a signifier of Francis of Delirium’s growing impact on Luxembourg’s cultural soundscape. As the local music scene continues to thrive, this year’s result reaffirms the passion and diversity that define it.
