DJ NOSI surprises with Phil Collins rework release for Halloween

Luxembourg’s very own DJ NOSI has dropped a Halloween treat for fans; a cool rework of the Phil Collins legendary track “In The Air Tonight.”

Announced with little warning, the release hit SoundCloud just in time for spooky season. “So I thought of a little spread before Halloween. I've been playing my Phil Collins rework all summer long and thought of releasing it right now," NOSI said in a post. "Just a surprise on SoundCloud. I've got some big support on it over the summer. So yeah, take care. Here it is. Love you guys.”

The rework gives new life to one of music’s most iconic songs. Originally released in 1981, “In The Air Tonight” was Phil Collins’ debut solo single after leaving Genesis. The haunting drum break (possibly the only thing missing from NOSI’s rework)  and brooding atmosphere made it an instant classic, and a defining anthem of the ’80s.

NOSI’s version takes that timeless energy and spins it into a dark, club-ready banger with a cinematic build and pulsing bassline; a perfect fit for Halloween playlists.

The track has already caught international attention, with none other than dance music legend Tiësto sharing his praise online: “I love the Phil Collins remake my man!”

With early support from major names and fans alike, NOSI’s surprise drop is more than a Halloween trick, it’s a treat that’s sure to echo through dance floors long after the spooky nights are over.
