One of Luxembourg’s genre-blurring underground sounds comes courtesy of Dontnod, a band that’s quickly carving out a space where rap, alternative rock and hip hop collide in the best possible way.

Change may come… and it already has

Their recently released single “Change may Come” (check out the video below and Spotify) is by no means a standalone track, it’s the opening chapter of a bigger concept. Change may Come sets the tone for their upcoming four-track EP 4 Seasons, a project built around a simple but clever idea: one release per season, across the whole of 2026.

It’s a format that feels almost nostalgic in a world of instant drops and algorithm-chasing, letting each track breathe, evolve, and reflect the mood of its moment in time.

A sound that doesn’t sit still

If you haven’t stumbled across Dontnod yet, expect a sonic mash-up that refuses to stay in one lane. Their music blends punchy rap flows with gritty guitar-driven energy and a dose of hip-hop groove. It’s the kind of fusion that feels equally at home in a sweaty basement show or blasting through headphones on a late-night walk.

“Change may Come” leans into that identity. It’s introspective without being heavy-handed, as the band explained in a recent post: “This song means a lot to us. It’s about growth, about uncertainty, about holding on when everything shifts around you”.

A year-long story, one season at a time

The concept behind 4 Seasons is where things get really interesting. Each track is tied to a different point in the year, and so not just as a release schedule, so a reflection of change itself. Time therefore, becomes  part of the creative process, adding a new layer to the overall narrative.

The whole concept will reach a crescendo in October this year, with a big concert launch planned. More details to follow soon! One to watch on the Luxembourg scene

Luxembourg’s music scene thrives on artists willing to experiment, and Dontnod fit that mould perfectly. With a clear concept, a hybrid sound, and a steady rollout planned for 2026, they’re building momentum.

Change isn’t just coming, it’s already here!
