Luxembourg’s dark rock scene welcomes a new and theatrical chapter with “Twilight Tears”, the latest single from Kivo Van Twist, a vampiric rock project led by Kevin Misci, also known for his work with the band Serpent Bite.

More than just a side project, Kivo Van Twist is the realisation of a childhood concept Kevin has been nurturing for years. With the support of family and friends, that long-held vision has finally come to life, blending music, storytelling, and striking visuals into a fully formed artistic universe.

A world of vampires and dark romance

Kivo Van Twist presents itself as a group of immortal musicians, inviting listeners into a shadowy world inspired by vampire lore and nocturnal fantasy. Their music explores themes of love, deceit, rivalry, revenge, and eternal longing, all wrapped in haunting melodies and dramatic rock arrangements.

Musically, the project draws from classic and hard rock, infused with a gothic edge. Influences such as Ghost, The Sisters of Mercy, The 69 Eyes, Type O Negative, Billy Idol, and Ozzy Osbourne can be felt throughout the sound.

“Twilight Tears” marks the latest chapter in the Kivo Van Twist story and is accompanied by a cinematic music video. The video was directed and post-produced by Tommy Misci, Kevin’s brother, in collaboration with Unknown Company Productions, the same creative team behind earlier singles “Lay Down” and “Time to Realize”.
