"Heemspill" calls musicians to the Philharmonie stage

ree

Luxembourg’s music scene has it all and whether you play classical, jazz, pop, rock, or experimental music, the Philharmonie wants to turn the spotlight firmly onto the people who make the scene so vibrant.

Heemspill is the Philharmonie Luxembourg’s homegrown talent programme, and is here with a mission: to bring musicians of all styles and backgrounds out of their rehearsal rooms and onto the glorious Philharmonie stage where the whole country can hear them. Whether you’re a seasoned pro, a weekend band warrior or a young talent finding your sound, Heemspill is all about creating unforgettable live moments and connecting people through music.

To capture the full spectrum of Luxembourg’s musical heartbeat, Heemspill is split into three exciting “cycles” or paths (or cycle paths even 😉). Each of them is tailored to a different corner of the scene.

These are:

  • Community gives harmonies, brass bands, choirs and ensembles that are affiliated with UGDA (Union Grand-Duc Adolphe)  the national visibility they deserve.

  • U30 gives the opportunity for the next generation to have a voice. Open to musicians aged 16 to 30, it gives young artists not just a stage but technical, media and artistic support to help them level up.

  • Luxembourg is bursting with established artists dreaming big and pushing creative boundaries. Featured gives them a professional stage to showcase their latest projects, shine in the spotlight, and reach new audiences. It’s also a playground for experimentation, where bold ideas, genre-bending sounds, and fresh collaborations come to life.

If you’ve dreaming of playing on Philharmonie’s big stage, then maybe that dream’s about to come true. Applications are now officially open.

Go to the webpage, choose your “cycle” fill in your artist details, share your project and let the Philharmonie team know what you’re dreaming up. If selected, they’ll be in touch. Then it’s curtains up, lights on and the Luxembourg music scene cheering you on.

Do it now, you have until..... actually it doesn't say anywhere, maybe all year? Who knows.
