Versus You (LU) and Ignite (US)

Since forming in 2005, Versus You has cemented its status as a cornerstone of the Luxembourg punk rock scene. The four-piece band has spent nearly two decades releasing records, playing a massive number of shows, and touring across Europe, Russia, and the UK. Their influence was recognised by Le Quotidien in 2014, which declared the band ​“an institution” in the local music scene.

The band’s discography includes four full-length albums and a split album with White Flag. Versus You’s sound draws inspiration from punk bands from Berkeley, Minneapolis, and Chicago, including Crimpshrine, Green Day, Jawbreaker, NOFX, The Replacements, and Hüsker Dü. They also incorporate songwriting influences from non-punk acts like Big Star, Tom Petty, and The Kinks. As for the name Versus You ? It means absolutely nothing.
