Since 2019, the duo Serge Tonnar and Georges Urwald have been interpreting Luxembourgish classics in a radically new way. Songs that often still linger in one's memory are experienced here in a fresh light. Serge’s almost narrative vocal style and Georges’s perfectly matched piano accompaniment place the lyrics and stories center stage.

Following their 19th-century repertoire featured in the program *Aus der Heemecht*, they now present their new album *KAPOUTTY*: songs by Poutty Stein—the father of the Luxembourgish *chanson*—heard as never before. Alongside classics such as "Déi Schnëss" and "De schéine Poli," the audience also gets to hear lesser-known—yet no less exciting—pieces.

Interwoven into the program are a few classics and obscure texts by the great predecessor Dicks, turning the evening into a unique recital of Luxembourgish song.
