The Horse Blinders
The Horse Blinders are a Luxembourgish band serving up a refreshingly sparkling mix of punchy pop, juicy blues, and solid rock in Luxembourgish: witty, playful, satirical, cabaret‑style lyrics drawn straight from everyday life, straight from the heart and onto the tongue.
After releasing the 2023 album “… an nach ee schéinen Dag” and celebrating it with a release show at the cultural centre Opderschmelz in Dudelange, we recorded a new album in 2025 titled “Raufaser”. Raufaser consists of 10 brand‑new songs dedicated to 10 Luxembourg cities and stands as a heartfelt bow to all the musicians, bands, and above all the fans who helped make rock and blues music thrive in Luxembourg.
Following the first presentation of Raufaser in Ettelbruck at the CAPE on 21 March 2025, the Horse Blinders went on tour across Luxembourg (9 concerts, with highlights besides the CAPE including: Fête de la Musique Dudelange, Blues’n’Jazz Rallye Luxembourg City, and eLake Echternach), performing the 10 new songs as well as tracks from the first album.
This autumn 2026, we are heading back into the studio to record our third album, which we plan to present live in 2027 — The release concert will take place on 13 May 2027 at CUBE 521 in Marnach.
