The Cookie Jar Complot
The Cookie Jar Complot stands to be Luxembourg's foremost instrumental Post- and Math-rock band.
With appearances at the biggest live festivals, including but not limited to USINA, Congés Annulés x4, Out of the Crowd, Fête de la Musique Dudelange, and having supported bands such as Karnivool (AUS), standards (US), PolyMath (UK), Trupa Trupa (PL), A Burial at Sea (IRE) and FES (UK), TCJC has grown to take headlining spots and being a draw for audiences from the greater region and beyond. Playing over 30 shows in 2 years, having 4500 streams in a month for the single "Birds are a Lie" and amassing a combined 20.000 views for self-produced live sessions on YouTube and playing their first UK tour in spring of 2024. The Cookie Jar Complot draws inspiration from bands such as And So I Watch You From Afar, Mutiny on the Bounty and Covet.
After embarking on a UK tour in 2024, TCJC also toured Germany and Belgium in August and September of 2025.
The Cookie Jar Complot is Gilles Glesener, Sven Schmeler and Philipp Colling who have been working, composing and playing together under this moniker since 2021.
The last EP "Lobster Knife Fight" was released digitally on the 27th of October and on vinyl on the 10th of November 2023 and their latest live session "Live from Brasserie Nationale" was released on the 24th of May 2024.
