Lassi KANG
Lassi KANG is a Luxembourg based solo project created by Finnish born Lassi Kangasluoma. Before moving to Luxembourg, Kangasluoma played in several Finnish bands, including Hemminki P., Pablo Heraldez and Mantereet, exploring punk rock, Britpop and post rock.
After relocating to Luxembourg, his music making with other people consisted mainly of choir singing. This inspired him to begin writing and recording music entirely on his own for the first time, and Lassi KANG was born.
The songs do not follow one fixed style, but alternative music from the 1980s and 1990s is a constant source of inspiration, along with a particular love for synthesizers. Kangasluoma writes and sings the songs, plays several instruments and is closely involved in recording and production. Other musicians may also make occasional appearances.
